All copies are released feature incorrect black levels, they all appear gray.
Yes, even the letterbox bars...

The proper setting for sharpness is always0.
Also my Oppo BDP-103D is region free.
That makes me awesome.

Agreed. It's pretty disappointing about the black levels. It was otherwise, not too bad.

I assume we're talking about the Van Damme movie right? If so, I'll give it a looky and see what I see though I noticed no problems when I first viewed it.
