Looking at the grain vs the smearing mpeg artifacts, I'd say it's night and day. No doubt in motion the Shout release is pretty good. I was satisfied with it and just downright happy to finally have my ultimate guilty pleasure on something other than a non-anamorphic widescreen single layer DVD.

However, I am a grain purist. I want my grain defined and it looks like Arrow gives it. cool.gif

I was not thinking of orange, which is a warm color and certainly not a orange fest like Westworld, besides it appears to be only a slight shift.

The standard UK release (non-Steelbook) has both cuts on separate discs, correct? Amazon UK's general specs show the standard release as having only one disc, but the detailed specs say it has both cuts. Someone posted pics of the actual discs over at blu-ray.com and it looks like it has both cuts on separate discs.

Just want to double check before I order it. Thanks.

It's like there are 2 color filter choices these days.
Green/Matrix or Orange.

If you take a look at a close up of the face and compare it with the Us directors cut, you can see even the white area to the right of his eye also turns slightly orange.

Not saying this is bad but which one is correct(directors intent) color?

Is the US correct but has less grain?

Both were derived from the same transfer so looks like maybe shout factory have adjusted the colour timing on this release.
