Has anyone seen the new re-release of the Italian Job (2003)? I've read nothing but bad things about the 2007 release version and was hoping the new 2012 version was an improvement. Can anyone comment?

Same half-assed transfer with lossy DD audio, but a different cover.

Listen up, studios! Just say "NO" to DNR and EE!!

That's unfortunate. I picked up a 2010 release of the DVD for ~$3.50.

Well, even though the HD transfer is not the greatest (Paramount catalog titles tend to be iffy just like Universal and MGM's "efforts"), it's still above the DVD in terms of over all clarity.
