Well I certainly don't want to put words in Art's mouth, but to me an "average at best" Blu-ray is still superior
to a dvd, but as a whole, it's kinda disappointing. Some close-ups looks really good (I'm not saying great
), but the film for example, shows obvious signs of dirt and damage here and there, and that doesn't include the original footage used in certain sequences.). So to me, it may be more detailed than a dvd (and color tones look fine by the way), but as a "high definition" disc, it's what I'd call average
yes. I have no idea about the source that was used so I'm not particularly "blaming" Universal, but this release is, only, acceptable
. With that said, I'm a fan of this type of movies, so I'm happy to have it nonetheless.
