Finally ordered the ITV/Acorn complete 7-disc series via Amazon (marked 1080i 16X9 on the package, for ~$66.) Amazon was processing order for another shipping firm, and noticed Amazon's price increased a week or so later by ~$10.
Sure agree, as mentioned by SMK just above, the set is a gem. I'm up to disc 5 now, and perhaps I will click on the subtitles; they might have helped for one of the earlier discs, too, with some nearly unintelligible strings of dialog. Don't think I'll spend time going into much detail since there are so many detailed reviews, like those at Blu-ray.com. One review there mentions the 16X9 images (on most discs) are the result of top/bottom cropping from the Super 16mm frames. Quite good PQ, mostly, considering the age of the productions. Glad to see Helen's still going strong and is slated for a Broadway play soon. -- John
