But a lot of them are not available individually, and if so, are at the $90 or more level, used. So that the entire Criterion collection is a relative bargain.

It's going to be a big purchase, but one I cannot avoid.

Nice find! I have been waiting for something like this for a long time.

I used to have all of the Zatoichi movies dvr'd in HD from the ZOOM! channel before Dish Network dropped it. Unfortunately, a hard drive crash was all it took to wipe them all out!

If I had to guess, I'd bet you will be able to find a lower price around release time (at least I'm hoping!)

While you're waiting for the next sale, it's looks Criterion has Blind Swordsman up on HULU Plus.

"If you build it they will come.." Ok, what is this "It" you speak of and who, are they???! Do I want to know?...

A shame I bought nearly all of them on DVD oh so many years ago. I'll just have to give them away when the BD comes out.

Now available from Barnes & Noble in their annual 50% off Criterion sale: $112.49. Amazon hasn't budged in price and now wants nearly $200 for the BR/DVD set. A no brainer.
