Maze Runner 2 Scorched Trials

I'm enjoying this series far better than the others like it and the second installment didn't disappoint both from and storyline as well as topnotch video and audio

I really liked the Maze Runner and it has fantastic AQ. The Scorch Trials was ok. The AQ seemed a bit dull compared to the first movie. My kids enjoyed it more than I did.

I thought both of these movies were really great and am surprised they're not more popular!! Looking forward to the final one to complete the trilogy far more than Divergent/Insurgent or the Hunger Games stuff (which did finish a few months ago).

Enjoyed the first one. Didn't care for the second one. It just kept repeating the same 10min formula cycling over and over until the end.

Get put in a bad situation, someone/something breaks them loose, chase scene, dialog with new introduced character and the "can we trust them?" stuff, blah blah, sudden reason to flee said new location and with new character in toe, get caught and put in a bad situation...

Repeat.

Seriously. Watch the movie again and tell me the same thing doesn't happen over and over every ten minutes.

lol

If they had stuck to what happened in the books, the movies would have been good. Instead, they decided it needed touch-ups to parts that were critical, deleted other critical parts, and most of the main characters aren't even the same person aside from the name. It just ended up coming crashing down on their heads because they took a book that could span two movies, cut out everything that wasn't action-packed, simplified all the action, and spliced all those scenes together into a mumbo-jumbo that makes little sense and is very repetitive.
If you read Ender's Game and watched that movie, they did the exact same thing to this series as they did to that book.
