Yeah, my camera doesn't do a very good job of picking up shadow detail. What sucks is I have one fixed "option" which is called night mode so I am unable to make a custom shutter timing.

Bummer.

Sorry ...I dont have Blood Diamond and not planning to buy it.

Does price really matter if you are buying a ticket on the Titanic?

Here is my newly purchased Panasonic LX700 LCD.

Panasonic should make more LCDs.

I try to get closer but my camera is an old point and shoot relic. Canon's digi II chip sucks, not sharp at all. Here goes.

Yeah i know, your right but after giving my brother the G1 i miss it so much and i know thats not a point and shoot. Canon i guess has been pairing the new chips with inferior lenses. I should probably not blame the chip. The pro90 had the best lens without goin pro but thats another Forum.

Nismor, those are great shots! Shows how even a "humble" 32" LCD can showcase the beauty of HD movies. If it's a well-made set, the picture quality can be great regardless of the size. I've been hearing a lot of good things regarding that new Panasonic. It's the only one in its size class that I know of with the new 120 Hz refresh rate technology. If these still images are any indication, it certainly helps.

Please post more pics. I for one would love to see them and I think your images are more impressive than some of the screenshots from much more expensive sets I've seen in here.

Thanks GamerGirl i am glad you like them. This Panasonic LCD produces a great picture for its price. I will try to take more pics this weekend of other titles and post them.

I got Hellboy in. Very color saturated title but suprisingly great skin tones( on humans that is).

I really wanted this next shot to come out good but all shots failed:

OK now i go away.

A question for Mods. Is it permissible for someone to post scenes from the movie, "Basic Instinct"?

have you seen the screenshots of Triple Fantasy: Bikini Destination a few pages back? As long as you keep them within range of those then there shouldn't be a problem since they were never removed. Of course, you wouldn't post nudity as we try to make this safe for work or throw a disclaimer that they are NSFW, but I am no mod so don't take my word for it.

I know what you mean. I watched some movies I would have never considered during HD-DVD's release drought.
