I'm on the verge of signing up for Netflix again now that I can play the BR discs, but from what I can see, the Blockbuster Total Access doesn't list BluRay on their website, which is a shame as the ability to swap discs at a local BB is great. Anyone have any clue if they plan on adding them soon?

You can rent BD online with total access, whether or not your local store carries them is another story. My local Blockbusters do not carry bd or hd dvd. To find them on the website go to Collections then Blu-Ray dvd and you will get a complete list of all the titles they carry.

I thought that with Total Access you could return movies to store and just rent one of them there that would be from your queue.

if you return your movie to the store instead of mailing it you can get a free movie from the store and they mail your next movie from your Q. but once a month you will get a E COUPON that you print and take it to the store and with the e coupon you can get a free movie or game.if you take a movie you get online back to the store instead of mailing it back that is only good for a in store movie not a game.

My local blockbuster carries blu-ray and hd-dvd movies, although the selection is very small. Also the movies are rarely rented out....leading me to surmise that not many in the mainstream are renting hd movies at this time. I did ask the manager if they would be getting more hd movies, and he said definitely.......he also told me I was the first person he knew that owned both formats.

PS Network: HZR
Xbox 360 Tag: HZR Nam 75
Wii Connect: 7793 3308 1436 9373

I find it convenient to have only Blu-Ray and HD-DVD sent to me via mail, and then return them in store for new releases not available in High-Def. Works out well..,though there are soo many titles online not available in stores..

I think that this Total Access thing is going to force Netflix's hand and have them drop prices, which may in turn drop prices for Total Access, or a win-win for consumers

So how does BB online's selection and turnaround of BD titles compare to Netflix?

As well as price?
