I went to watch King Arthur last night, and I was forced to skip through about five trailers and an anti-piracy video before finally getting to the main menu. I know that others have probably noticed this; however, I have not seen a lot of complaining about it. Does this bother anyone else? Is there an easier way to bypass all of this? I don't mind hitting chapter skip once, but this is quite excessive. If Disney ever goes HD DVD, they could probably cut 20GB by just removing the Disney propaganda. I don't mind this being included on the disc as long as the movie quality isn't effected (Disney Blu-ray discs usually look great), but I wish that they could bury these under the special features so that it wouldn't take five minutes to get to the main menu every time.

It would certainly be more user friendly if the menu button worked here.

I haven't watched this title, but sometimes using the other menu button works for skipping this stuff (pop-up menu instead of top menu I think)

None that I have found.

Yes, all I want to do is watch the d*?# movie. I do not need extras, trailers, warnings, games, etc., for other readers YMMV.

Yes BV is definitely excessive in this department. What makes it even worse is that they go from previews to anti-copy BS, then they tell you that your movie will be starting shortly and you have to wait that screen out. I really don't understand their logic.

I am using a PS3, and I tried both menu buttons without success. You just get the message about operation not supported or menu not available. I thought that since no one else was complaining that maybe it was a PS3 issue or there was a trick that I didn't know about.

Thanks for the warning. I will only buy Disney movies if the title is REALLY compelling.
