Buy.com has 27 Blu-ray titles on sale. Most of the prices are decent but then there are some that are as low as $15.25. You can also use google checkout (if you have an old unused account) to make this deal even better.

Aren't these all the same exact movies that are discounted by Deep Discount right now?

DDD is $0.95 to $3 more per title. Both claim free shipping. Whether or not you want to roll the dice with a Buy.com purchase is up in the air I guess.

the titles at $15.25 all look like unwanted titles priced to move. even at $15.25 i'd still wont touch those titles. jay and silent bob i alreaady have on dvd and dont see the need to go HD on that one.

I didn't feel the need to go looking since you begged the question if they were the same titles. Since it's RIGHT on the front page, one would assume you would have checked and answered the question yourself.

They need to call it the "Ass titles" for sale.

I'd love to get my hands on a Blu Monster's Ball.-LilStinky

Refering to a possible release of said movie on BD LOL

I thought there was already a thread about it here. It wasn't a literal question. I knew the answer.

I figured you knew the answer, that's why the question seemed odd. Never quite understand the need for those types of posts. Ah well, at least you added a sale link to this thread, LOL.

I got in on this deal this morning. Buy.com is sending out emails to previous customers. If you haven't used the Google checkout before, you can get $10 off also.

it's quite possible that the heat on the east coast is getting to us both.

That very well could be the case, my blu-ray friend. A thousand apologies, I'll blame it on the AC going out at work.

Jay and Silent Bob Blu-ray is definitely an improvement over the DVD.

I find the movie to be entertaining. It's one of those movies that I know isn't really well made, but I find myself watching it whenever I get the chance. The movie definitely has its charm.

This sale was certainly a godsend for me. With their 7% discount, I was able to get King Arthur, Finding Neverland, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and G.I. Jane for under $15 each. I was actually waiting for G.I. Jane to be under $10, but this sale was good enough.

Technically yes it is an improvement. But a marginal one at best. I watched it on my 32" Samsung LCD and was underwhelmed. I don't wanna imagine what it looks like on my 60" SXRD.

Of course this could just be the way Kevin Smith shoots his films. I also have Clerks II and Mallrats on HD-DVD, and those ain't so hot looking either.

King Arthur is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. Kiera Knightely is hot in her Xena outfit, and setting the story of Arthur in Roman times lent an air of authenticity to it, even if the overall plot is ludicrous.

And, although I haven't seen it, by almost all accounts, Finding Neverland is a good movie.

So I think both movies are worth $15. Better than paying $30 for movies that are a lot worse.

Clerks 2 looked like it was shot on video, but it was crisp and well defined. But hey, you're not watching a Kevin Smith film to nitpick the cinematography though some of the shots (especially with HD being able to read the blog post that Randal is typing for the handicapped site) are quite entertaining.

For all of the $5m budget, you can't go wrong with that kind of film-making.

Honestly though I just rent them. I love the shout-out Smith gives to Netflix on the Clerks II HD-DVD.

King Arthur was fun too... I loved the grit, costume design, and the way they tweaked the color, even though it's definately the kind of movie you have to turn your brain off for.

I thought Clerks II looked great. Very sharp and vivid.

With 20% off, should be a little bit cheaper
