i think warner may be the only neutral studio left not doing separate encodes for each format.

The Host is the same encode on both formats.

sspears - can you give us your recommended PS3 video settings after all the recent firmware updates?

lots of people remember your old posts and are looking for some answers

ps - I think they were your posts, sorry if I'm mistaken

ps1 - what's your opinion on going superbit on each of these formats?

thanks

I really can't understand Warner. TMNT gets lossless (no offense Alan) and Alexander gets standard 5.1. Haven't seen the audio specs for Troy yet either. Is it so hard to give us lossless on every title?

nice shots, I'll rent these as soon as they become available in Taiwan

Disney wins again for providing 1080i/p extra content.

Movies are not a right. They are a privilege, a consumer product, art, work for hire, a luxury, a hobby, entertainment.

Now that's how you spend $18K.

I didn't know good projectors came from Italy!?

But serioulsy that picture is cleaner than what some Digital Theaters thow up.

The Bratz dolls are in TMNT.
I dont know if I'll like that Jimmy Neutron style for Turtles.
Either way I'm amped(I still have the pajamas, and the shell costume)

Are Sai's Legal?

Ridiculous codec tier sig gone. Still AVC/24bit lossless fanboy.

Studio quality tier
Most Major studios>Small Studios>dogs>cats>Warner(the guys that do new movies)

Wow! The screenshot looked more detailed as any I have seen from the 1080p projectors. Of course we are just talking about screenshots but I was impressed.

Just watched Wild Hogs with the wife, we both enjoyed it a lot.

If you go in with low expectations you should have a good time. Some very funny stuff, some not, anyway...

There was a preview of Ratatouille, The Invisible, and some others that we have seen before, 10 minutes of trailers all together.

Just got my copy of TMNT from Amazon. Looks very good. Some icky banding in the opening credits, and sprinkled here and there in sky scenes, but otherwise the level of detail is fantastic.

Just watched it. Luckily I too went into it with low expectations and it was a little better than I expected.

Loved the end credits.

why are warner bros. frontcovers always blank?

no things like "1080P" or "fullHD" or "high definitaion resulution" something like that, just a simply picture without Studiobrand, names ect.

I'm Captain Jack Sparrow...Savvy?

I wouldn't recommend Wild Hogs as a purchase-if you haven't seen it i would recommend using your Netflix account. It's good for a few laughs but probably not something you will watch again.

It is one of the better transfers I have seen, and it is in the high-20Mbps range encoded in VC-1.

Methinks the main reason why the transfer is so good is that this movie has digital roots, and they used that as the master, so there was no actual film scanning involved. The end result is something that does look better than what I saw in the theater in terms of detail and quality.

I haven't seen the banding that some have seen, though. It could be a TV issue. :/

I didnt see any banding when I watched it on a 40xbr2 or on a 5080 when we watched TMNT...
I really enjoyed this movie.

I just watched the movie. A lot of the funny stuff is what the actors came up with on the whim; the overall story is just not impressive at all. But, it is worth it to see the familiar faces.
