I pre-ordered this morning but I just checked and my order history is empty. Shouldn't it at least say cancelled on it?

Being newly neutral, I'm liking this selection of titles to catch up on a bunch of titles that many Blu's have had for a while

l Toshiba HD-A3 l SONY BDP-S300 l

Did anyone else NOT receive a confirmation email from Best Buy about Lost: Season 3? I received an ad showing other TV shows I might like on DVD but no confirmation email.

EDIT: I just checked my order history and it still shows the set at 34.99. Fingers still crossed.

Well, FWIW my order is still showing as "In Process" to be delivered to my address stated during order placement. As already mentioned...we'll see . At the same time, I'm surprised that I've not received *any* e-mail confirmation of my order placement. Would seem to me that sometime today I should have received some sort of an 'in process' / 'acknowledgment' e-mail confirmation

But to your own point, you'd be right to be miffed if they just up and cancelled your order without having notified you.

Oh, and the famous Best Buy HD DVD add-on glitch...got about $300 extra in software out of that one, too.

Does anyone know if The Last Samurai on Blu-ray has the same audio problem as the HD-DVD? The level is like -15dB or something absurd.

actually, it's not just additions, they have removed some of the movies from yesterday. the 2 movies i bought last night, lady in the water and dog day afternoon, are no longer available. also, it seems like they no longer offer lethal weapon, but instead offer lethal weapon 2. i can't believe i'm ordering more movies from amazon. this is the 3rd day this week, and that's not including my pre-order for mr. & mrs. smith.

i just nabbed goodfellas and alexander for a grand total of $15.96 after my 10% discount.

The Royal Tenenbaums - YAY!

But thats what makes this format war great, what happens when Indy 4 is released next year on HD??? There is no way Speilberg can stop that from coming...

Hey whatever works, Toshiba keeps on trying to flood the market with cheap
HD-DVD players. What they need to do is BOGO free as well, also last time BB did this they stated selected titles but they didn't hold you to it, well at least my local store.

I agree. I have had my HD DVD player for about 9 months and including the 5 free that I received by rebate I own 27 HD DVD's. I haven't even received my Blu Ray player and I already own 11 BD's. In case your wondering why this is, I have been informed by my wife that I am receiving a PS3 for Christmas, so I started buying up movies. Since they have been BOGO I have bought 11 movies this week. I plan on buying Casino Royale and Open Season on Sunday at the Best Buy BOGO putting me at almost half my HD DVD total without even owning a player yet.

Ack - weren't basically all of the movies in The Best of Blu-ray Volume One in the BOGO yesterday individually and all of them in Volume Two are in the new offer individually?

Oh well, at least the order I placed yesterday with Super Saver selected actually shipped today - kind of surprised me. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I posted in a thread that I was "rental only" guy. Damn you Amazon sales!

Man I am really going to miss the 10% off promotion. Picked up the best of blu-ray collections for $22.78 each. Thats 5.69 per disc. They take off the 10% before the free one, so it is actually a 20% discount. $19.99 titles are under $8.
