Have anyone heard these will come out on Blu-ray in the future?

X-files
Harsh Realm
The Lone Gunmen
From Beyond
Invasion Of the Body snatchers

And I would like to know this ASAP, please.

I don't need a definitive answer when it's actually coming out.

Only if they are going to be planned to come out or not.

Thanks!!

I imagine they can whip up a DVD pretty quickly, maybe not so for a BD. Just give them some time.

Kazm899, Cinderella Man is available as a Japanese import if you can't wait for it. Universal has the rights in the US, and while their catalog output as of now consists only of titles already on HD DVD, they are focusing heavily on action, sci-fi, and comedy titles. CM could take a while, but we'll see.

The HD-DVD transfer of this movie was not very good ...

I am waiting for the original Indiana Jones trilogy on blu-ray. Haven't seen these for some time now. Any rumors or facts about the release date? Thanks.

No, we need to tell them, instead of hoping they are coming out in time.

I noticed that many studios or companies just doesn't give Blu-ray enough Respect yet. DVD is still their main format. BR/HD kinda get neglected, but I don't know you Might be right. However, send them an email to request it come out in HD doesn't hurt, does it?

I already did, and it only took 2 minutes of my life... VERY small problem!

I CAN'T afford wait 2+ years. They need to give us a news it's coming out in the immediate future, not long time!

You know, I am REALLY sick DVD is still the format of choice these days, I just want it to DIE!!!

HD IS the future, doesn't matter if it's Blu-ray or HD DVD, but appearantly BR is the winner, so... HD DVD is dead.

See, it's also $29.99, which is WAY too expensive for a regular DVD.

NO way in hell, I am paying that. I rather pay $10 more for HD version at $40 and be satisfied than waste $30 on an Inferior format that I would upgrade to HD format anyway.

Dexter is one of my fav shows. Watched it from day one. Watched both seasons in HD. I refuse to buy the DVD. I can't believe that Season 2 is coming out only on DVD. I have several episodes of Season1 on my PVR in HD and DVD of it. No comparison. Dexter is the type of show that TV enthusiasts (eg, Blu-ray owners likely) watch, so it's inconceivable as to why they wouldn't release it on Blu-ray when Weeds - another showtime series is getting great treatment in HD.

"Weeds" isn't owned by Showtime (actually Paramount), it's owned by Lionsgate. "Dexter", however, is, but it's plainly obvious that Paramount is focusing on theatrical titles in order to catch up, especially blockbusters. A cable show with relatively low-to-middle viewership isn't on their radar.

I was thinking similar things regarding Dexter and also noticed as a result that Paramount has no TV BDs. Even Universal has Heroes coming and the others have one or two TV show releases.

I guess we will have to be patient...

Yeah, this upsets me, too. But I'm going to break down and order the SD version since there is no alternative at the moment, and none in sight, either.

Have it recorded in HD (or whatever's left of it after TWC ran it throught their encoders), but after all the faking and switcheroos, it's heading for the recycle bin.

WE have to Email NBC to request it!!!

I really doubt all these studios/companies respect Blu-ray enough right now. Don't hurt to email them, do it?

The catalog films I most want on Blu-Ray are those that never got a decent transfer (or widescreen transfer) on DVD...

Twins
Kindergarten Cop
Arthur
Outland
Parenthood

...just to name a few. I'm excited for Poltergeist and Young Frankenstein, as they would have made my list as well.

Uni and Fox appear to have some interest in TV Blu-ray so I guess there is hope...

Warner should release Veronica Mars too!

For Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Heroes should I hole out for the complete set or buy them separate? Keep in mind I would want them on blu-ray but some still have not even been announced. Ugh so confused!

Buy the ones that are out. There is no guaranty that the complete sets (all seasons?) will ever be out, or out in a reasonable time.

This title was slated as one of the original releases when Blu-ray was first announced. Why hasn't it come out yet and does anyone know if there's a set release date?

With the vivid color scheme used in the series I think it could look phenomenal in an HD format. I also think they shot with HD cameras as well, but I'm not sure about that.
