XA-2 in the main system, A-2 in the secondary system, both bought when they first came out.
An XA-2 and an A-35 in storage for backups.

If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 and HD-DVD playback software, all you have to do is plug it in and use it as you would an external DVD drive.

Big mistake. Windows 7 is great. First OS I've been excited about in a looooong time.

Perhaps, but I've several computers (I build them myself) and MS is hopelessly restrictive on use of their later OS. It doesn't matter to them that there's only me, they want an arm and a leg -- no dice !

Bought an A35 on sale just after the Death of the format. Had an A2 to begin with.
Gave my son the A2 and will keep the A35 till it or me dies!

Even though I have three players plus the 360 add-on, seeing HD-A1 auctions on eBay going for .99 (plus $20 shipping ) sure is making me think about adding another to the collection. Goodness, I have $15-$20 for another slightly used A1

For anyone who is wondering, the Buy.com refurbished XBox360 HD-DVD add-ons come with everything except the King Kong HD-DVD. Well, that and factory warranty support.
The installation disc, all manuals, the USB cable, the power brick and cable, and the remote are all included (or at least, they were in mine). Pretty nifty deal for $25!

I only have two players -- my trusty A2 that I bought oh so long ago, and my A30 that I bought right after the end was announced. I use the A30 primarily, but I plug in the A2 from time to time . . . .

If they both kick the can one day, I'd probably buy one more, but after that . . . I guess I'll see how I feel.

But I'll probably buy another one!

I got a LG BH200 as my primary (which saves space in the living room) and in the "man cave" I have the 360 AO hooked up. Good enough for now.
