Due to a strange set of circumstances I have an A30 on which the door that covers the drawer seems to be missing its spring. I'm assuming its a spring loaded design. Anyone fixed this and if so how, steps, etc.?

If the A30 is similar to the A3, I didn't think it had a separate fold-down door that opens when the disc tray is ejected. I know the A1 and XA1 have separate doors.

The flap would be part of the faceplate of the player. You'll have to remove the cover and then there are usually three clips on the top and the bottom that hold the faceplate to the unit.
