I bought the unit used. Sometimes it plays OK, then sometimes it plays for a long time then the video usually freezes, but the timer on the front of the unit keeps counting. Pressing track forward or back usually doesn't do anything.

I updated to 4.0 firmware and it seemed to help on some discs, but now I was playing 300 and the unit froze up twice in two different spots. The discs look clean.

Any fix for this?

If you're having problems with Warner discs, a lot of their HD-DVDs were either defective or have rotted. Have you tried the bad discs on more than one player?

Nope, only have one player...

I just was playing "The War" which was made by Universal and it started acting up about 1:40
I don't want the player to be faulty..
