The 1014 kicked out while I was playing a DTS CD at 96/24 (Peter Gabriel) Sorta went fzzt and the audio stopped. It apparently lost some functionality. But I'm speculating with the HDDVD issue as I'm not using the A20's optical outputs any more, as that would be a step back from HDMI.

Footnote: it's two years since the last post, and the A20 is now not opening its drive door. I'm going to open it up and have a look, but I fear the end may have come for this fine player. My BD doesn't upconvert DVDs anywhere near as nice as this unit did.
