Hello All,

I just went through the main HD A2 thread to read about audio compatibilites using Toslink. For a moment, I freaked out last night because all I could here was a really garbled audio from my older JVC 5.1 DTS and DD compatible receiver. I hooked up my HD A2 via HDMI to the TV and then I used Toslink between the HD A2 and the JVC Receiver. At first, all i would get is a horrible tinnie sound or a really garbled audio sound when playing HD DVD media such as Chronicles or Riddick. I freaked, I thought I would have to purchase a new reciever! But i then decided to change inputs on the receiver, not on the connection side, but the buttons on the front, and then back to the input that the HD A2 is hooked up too, and it worked just fine. Does anyone have any solutions on how to avoid having to switch inputs every time i want to watch an HD DVD using my receiver?
