Have you actually tried using the chapters on the disc to find a scene you want? The chapters are not arranged by scene or storyline. They're all encoded at a fixed 3 minute length and will deposit you wherever in the middle of a scene or the middle of a line of dialogue that happens to land. Skipping through the chapters that way really isn't any more useful than just scanning with the fast forward button. In fact, it takes longer.
