That would be cool but I was at a BB today and all the prices were the same. I'll have to check the one where I get the HD DVD's early since the BB I went to newest release was Dukes of Hazzard. Thanks for the heads up

Yeah I bought Sahara and ATL today. U-571 was the only title for $22 there. Since I just got my A1 last saturday I would of went crazy buying titles if they were all pretty cheap.

I guess they just got tired of people like me coming in every Tuesday with a printout of Target HD DVD prices and having them price match. :)

still jacked up in austin and no price match. they dont have too though as everyone is sold out of titles. Im not sure if its because they dont get many in or what but Wal-mart always has rags for titles (maybe 1 to 2 of each/ 6 titles out of 12) and best buy sells out of new releases the day of. For no one having hd-dvd i sure do have to call around to find my movies lol. Speaking of witch my local wally moved 10 hd-dvds off a pallet in 5 days. They had a little display with a trash 20 inch lcd monitor on it with a stack of the rca units, now its just the display and one unit.

Glad to hear it -- I think those RCA's are nice boxes. I'd love to see Walmarts HD-DVD player sales take off. :)

It may have the sticker at the lower price but ring higher at the register. Fight for it though, as I did for serentiy, but watch the register display price none-the-less.

Aren't those all Universal titles? I thought I had read a few weeks ago that Universal was lowering the price on their titles sometime this summer... so maybe this reflects that change.

Went to BB today, They had more than half of all of the HD DVD's marked down to $22.99. I picked up U571. The sales guy said that they had a 30 day price guarantee and to bring my recepts for the other DVD's I bought for an adjustment! Oh Ya!

I was at one of my local Best Buys and every HD-DVD was priced at MSRP. Maybe they would've rung up at the $22 price...who knows. But, I was able to get Sahara for $20 instead of $30 by price matching it to Walmart. :D

It was too bad that they didn't have We Were Soldiers in-stock.

Y'all are too easy! When I go to a BB, I make sure I don't drop anything 'cause I'm sure as hell not going to bend over to pick it up. :D

I broke down & went to the East Broadway BB in Tucson yesterday & picked up We were Soldiers & Manchurian Candidate for $24.99, as Amazon is still not taking orders for them.

BTW, pleased to see the XA1 still demo'ing prominently in the Magnolia section. If there was a BD display, it was well hidden 'cause I couldn't find it. :)

The Manalapan, NJ store lowered their prices too, but they are still too high! Should be 19.99, IMO.

they better drop the prices in Canada too. It's ridiculous when it's cheaper by 25% to 35% to buy through Amazon.com + shipping than going to the nearest BB. Amazon.ca is even worse than BB. Their prices are the same as BB PLUS you gotta pay shipping.

I just bought We Were Soldiers, today, at my Best Buy (Watertown, MA) for $15 (I had a $10 off coupon).

What's up with Amazon not selling HD-DVDs that have already been released? I was planning on buying it through Amazon (and potentially Aeon Flux and The Italian Job) but I might have to give my business to BB since they're not offering them for sale or pre-sale. It's starting to piss me off...
