Right on. Total Recall! Another title to compare. Anyone know if this will be in English or with it be a french dub?

Well all France Title have Both Audio, but a French Artwork. Except when it's a French Movie, like Brotherhood of the Wolf for example, the France version won't have the English Track since it's a french movie..

I have the German WMV 720p release of the Title... and it look tons better then the DVD...

89+ Blu-ray Disc ;)

Studio Canal titles will be released in United Kingdom.
UK Total Recall will be likely in English.

And don't forget that these current HD-DVD players (unlike the first gen BD players), have the capability to add subs from a secondary source and display them while you watch an otherwise sub-less movie.

I hope the Total Recall transfer is better than the WMV Release I have which did not impress me at all (with no DRM either). I will probably end up buying The For & King Kong. Why are they releasing "old" movies first and not the recent blockbusters? Dont understant the strategy/rationale.

I don't know whether the copyright system is the same as music. If it is, then it's logical because it's cheaper to pay out the copyright for older music (in this case, movie) than the newer ones. Thus recouping the production cost easier.

When are these being released?

Just enjoy HD in whatever form you can (Sat, Cable, D-VHS, OTA, HD DVD, or BD).

Looking at the above there are alot of Lions Gate titles, maybe this is the reason why they are prepping their own HD DVD titles because region free UK imports could damage their own sales.
