Hi guys, I'm not sure if you would be interested in these, as they are my own designs rather than posters, but I figured I would show them here just in case.

All are available @ http://bunnydojo.com/HD/
(There are no ads and no registration is required, so hopefully posting a link like this is okay. Perhaps Evangelo would even add a link to the opening post, unless he want to keep that exclusively to what's available on his site, which would be understandable)

Anyway, comments are very much welcome, and if there are any requests you guys have for titles I should try, I'd be happy to hear them. Sometimes a poster can do the job nicely, but other times it's nice to try something different.

Five more previews in next post...

Ill add a link to the main thread. This isnt about promoting my site which is also free, no registration and not a buisiness.
You have some great covers there. What do you use to get that preview in the HD DVD case like that?

As I said over on DVD Talk, I love your covers Bunny Dojo. I really like how you match up the spines in design.

I figured it was just a matter of you being a good guy and wanting to provide a service to friends, so it's nice to hear that we have that in common. I've got the web space to spare and my ego needs a lot of room of its own , so for now I'm comfortable. I really appreciate the hosting offer, though. Perhaps we can start something up in the future.

And thanks for the kind words so far, guys. It's still a little awkward designing to these case specifications, so it's always nice to hear that I'm doing an okay job.

Oh, I mentioned this to Evangelo in a PM, but if case anyone else is interesting in doing so, the previews were made by taking a retail preview from Robin Hood and using the transform tool on my custom designs to make them fit into the space. Imandix is pretty popular for 3d previews too, from what I hear... based on Bomdy's post, it works nicely.

Bunny Dojo, absolutely love your Aeon Flux and The Good Shepherd. The Manchurian Candidate is too overused, IMHO and Equilibrium doesn't show the soul of the movie.

But then again I'm not the one who creates these covers

Sweet, can't wait to check this out.
One idea for the spine...
I don't know if it is just me but it bothers me a little that the first Matrix spine does not match the other 2. Just an idea to make them match.

Okay, gang! I made one! My first time ever doing cover-art!

Please, note that I am entirely too cheap and lazy to attempt using a real program - so I did the following entirely in MS Paint!

It's the Bourne Supremacy and forgive me if it looks a little amateurish but I think it's awesome. Took me much longer then I thought it would though - whew!

I wrote the back tagline and description myself - try to zoom in and read them if you can, they're kind of funny!

Here goes:

The above is only in like 35%-resolution and even then it's limited by photobucket I think but if someone wants me to send the real one, I will - thanks!

Hey, and let me know what you think - if you like it - I'll make more! Woooooaaaaaah!

Ill check tonight if the spine is flat or curved. I think it was curved but let me verify tonight.

I also don't just mean the font being centered, I mean that Reloaded and Revolutions have the green matrix kind of font and the first Matrix has the font from the original movie posters. Just different. It may look nice if they all match

ja, but I personally don't really care to streamline the little details of things like the size of the Universal logo or whether I have the correct ISBN number or whatever.

I don't care if it looks perfectly professional as long as the front and back have the art/pics I want, the appropriate-looking fonts I want, and it all looks generally pretty clean.

I'm from the Persian-bazaar school of thought on designing this stuff - you guys are like Renaissance artists with it...but that's too exhausting for me.

As long as the custom has the poster art I like most without main-title fonts that look too awkward, I'm good to G-O.

So I'm using this post as my fair warning - I may post others in the future but don't expect them to have things like "those logo details" perfect. My stuff won't ever be professional-grade but rather just passable, Joe-Six-Pack masterpieces! BWAH, HAH, HA HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I actually like the direction you were going with it. Maybe Ill take a stab at something similliar for Bourne Identity when it comes out.

^^^Thanks, dude - it's appreciated - hah, and BTW, I was actually thinking of trying Bourne Identity myself here sometime soon if I get bored...I dunno...(goes into humble mode, lol)...

But, yeah, it's true though - that if somebody ever actually likes a general design of mine but wants the logo/data fixtures truly accurate, they'd probably have to re-do those parts themselves. I just don't know if I have the talent or the energy for the minutiae.

I'm sort of making mine more for fun and just because I have a personal taste to wish that some old official poster art or photo pose was used instead of what they did for the final to-DVD release.

Obviously some of these new, completely home-made customs are absolutely brilliant too - the only reason I would make my own alternate over those is just because I, like all of us, are often surprised that the studios never use one of their many different and "best" international poster arts/what-have-you for the cover-art instead of what they do use.

A nice cover for Fragile would be nice, so those of us that have it could ditch the dvd keep case and put it in a proper HD DVD case. Thanks for your efforts

Has anyone come up with a custom cover for Oliver Twist or xXx Japanese versions? These full sized standard DVD cases are messing up my HD shelf Karma Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I will be more than happy to scan and email the original covers to anyone that wants them for reference

Your Feng Shui is taking the damage. Your Karma is fine, at least as far as your case dilemma goes.
