Thanks for all your input in response to my thread. This was just an idea since I have seen so much of this go on with game consoles. And since this is a whole new thing with competeing video formats(in a time where people want video products), I just thought that somthing crazy could happen. I chose VHS back in 1982 over Beta, and bought my 1st DVD player in October of 1997, so I'm really interested to see how these formats are going to do. Also it is possible that neither of these formats will ever catch on. You do need a high-def set, and this will take a very long time to mainstream. Just look at cable tv, only 59% of people who own a TV in America have cable.

Although, the no one will be watching the Warner France list closely until June/July, 300 is one of the many titles listed as "HD DVD Only:
