Got a question that I have searched for an answer, but I haven't found exactly what I am looking for yet. I purchased Superman Returns around Christmastime last year and it was a faulty disc, locking up the same place that most people here have problems (where Lois starts smoking for the first time). I returned it and got a new copy, never playing it until last week. I just assumed I had a bad disc and this would fix it. Unfortunately I was wrong, and the new disc does the same thing. I would like to exchange the disc with Warner (since I am about a year past my return date w/Best Buy) but I can't find a number to speak with somebody or a web form that I can fill out to send the disc back.

I know there is a thread here somewhere; it has been discussed ad nauseum. Unfortunately, my searching capabilities are apparently limited. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks so much for your help, it is appreciated.

-Chase

ps-Using the HD-D1 w/updated firmware.....pretty sure it's a problem with the disc.

I just called the # to WB and the lady acted like I was crazy. She said this wasn't a known issue and nobody had ever called before. I then told her its a long standing issue and referenced the forums and others who have gotten replacements and she told me she would have to have a supervisor call me back since she had never heard about it and it wasn't on their list of known disk issues. We'll see if someone actually calls me back...

I received this email from Warner Bros re: Superman Returns. I would assume you could email the same person at Warner and they would do what they did for me, which was send me a DHL label which I could mail back with the movie for a return. here is the copy of the email:

Dear Mr. Bunger:

I would be more than happy to help you with this issue. Please respond with an address where I can send you a pre-paid label. Once you receive the label, please return the DVD of Superman Returns in its original case back to me. Once I receive the DVD, I will then order and send you a new one. Please note that this title, for HD, is only available in the combo. I look forward to hearing from you and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Sherri
