Hello Everyone,

I'm new and I must say this is an awesome site...I have a question..I mostly have all Pioneer Elite equipment, so I'm tryin to stick with this trend..Which would be a better CD Player the PD-65 or DV-79AVI...? I will be using this player strictly for playing normal music CD's..Any help/input will be greatly appreciated..

I look forward to participating in these forums...

Thanks to all for reading...

I was a DV-79AVi owner, if you can find one under 300 bucks, I would say go for it. You probably won't find any player that sounds better. But at its original MSRP($1000), its SQ just isn't good enough compare to other universal BD player/CD player in that price range. (I bought a brand new 79AVi for $330. Sold it for $270, and then bought an used Yamaha CD-S1000 for $620)

BD-A1010/CD-S1000/PF60
HTR-6290/A-S1000/KDL46V5100
NS-555/SOAVO-900C/NS-125F

BD - 245
HD - 7
