I have just bought a cheap Denon DCD 485 cd player off ebay to go with my old Denon AVR 1804 that’s in my garage. The problem I’m experiencing is that randomly when playing different disc’s the sound will cut out for a split second. It’s not the disc because if you replay the section that just cut out it won’t happen again, plus the same disc’s play fine on my indoor units. It can happen once or twice per disc or it won’t happen after playing three discs back to back. Also It happens whether it’s connected by optical or rca leads and I don’t believe it’s the receiver either as it didn’t happen with the old cd player that was connected previously, unfortunately (it died). Any thoughts guys. Regards wassa
