Hi,

I have a AT-LP60 Turntable and the TC-750LC Preamp and I'm looking for some bookshelf speakers to go along with them. I'm not looking to spend a ton right now (100$ probably), just want to hear my record player.

Any suggestions?

The Pioneer bookshelf speakers should fit the bill. You can get them at BB for around your budget.smile.gif

Do you mean these?

Also when working with speakers like this...do I need banana plugs in order to plug them into the other devices?

Yes. That depends on what your receiver takes. Not pretty but they do sing.smile.gif

Aren't those Pioneer speakers passive? The OP doesn't appear to have an amp, just a phono stage (which he doesn't need, actually).

To the OP: First, return the phono preamp, if you can. You already have one built into your turntable. That will up your budget a little. What you need are a stereo receiver as well as a pair of speakers. I doubt you can do that for less than $200-300, unless you buy used.

If you can't explain how it works, you can't say it doesn't.—The High-End Creed

He said other devices so I assumed he meant a receiver. But you may be correct. confused.gif
