Hi,

I am trying to get an entry level HiFi stereo for my study room.  After some browsing and thoughts, I am down to 2 choices.  May I ask, in your professional opinions, which is better and/or more worthy to purchase?  I need it solely to play CDs and maybe sometimes connecting to iProducts.

1. Yamaha MCR-223 (or MCR-323 with an upgrade of the finish)

2. Denon D-M39S

http://usa.denon.com/us/product/pages/productdetail.aspx?pcatid=audiocomponents%28denonna%29&catid=shelfsystem%28denonna%29&pid=microcomponentsystem%28denonna%29

Thank you very much

Are you limited by space or money?

They're pretty much equivalent. If you have the space and can spend a little more, you would be better off buying separate components than an all-in-one system. But if you have space/money constraints, those are reasonable choices. Id' say go with whichever is the best deal.

Thank you for your response.

I am both space and budget tight.  I guess I will go with the one with a better deal. :)
