Both new receivers have built-in Bluetooth with audio streaming, HD Radio and both are SiriusXM Radio ready. They offer full Pandora Internet radio control from Android and iPhone smartphones. They also offer basic control of iPhone apps on the radio and they have a rear USB port. The receivers also ship with a microphone that can mount close to the driver for better hands free calling.

The CDE-HD149BT has a three line full dot matrix display with an estimated suggested retail price of $320.
The CDE-HD148BT has a two line dot display at $280.

Obviously HD is not the big selling point, but I think we're going to start seeing it included more just from a don't-want-to-not-have-it-included marketing standpoint.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.

I just had the 149 installed Wednesday (May 15) along with the SiriusXM kit, so far I really like the radio. Still playing with all the settings.
