congratulations on taking the plunge. it might help other builders if you could provide a quick summary of your project in your first post...just something simple that includes details on the drivers, amp, enclosure size, and maybe even stick a picture of the final product in the first post. "ezcl's sub" is added to the list!

Listen. It's All Good.

This is a pretty good idea. You might want to organize them by alignment or something. It might help those interested in DIY to sort through the LLTs, sealed, etc.

that's the plan...but first let's try to get as many on the list as possible. once we have some feel for the field, then we can organize/group them in some logical way.

You can throw my sub build up there if you like. I don't see any PR designs yet, and my box isn't painted or nothing though.

Graphs were deleted as it was pointed out that they were meaningless..

Apparently the sound card calibration was just noise, still haven't had a chance to play with the excessively complicated thing yet.

There is the first in-room IB manifold design I came up with for my home theater, using 4x AV15 drivers in a 22" cube, firing into a 3,800 cu ft. 'box':
http://www.jonathanfoulkes.com/Home_...kers/IBSub.htm

This puppy changes the air pressure in the room when the doors are closed.

Full build and install story there as well.

After five years, performance is outstanding. Clean and flat to below 20hz (measured with ETF, R+D, REW and Audyssey Pro).

You can check out the latest Audyssey pro cert for this system here: http://www.jonathanfoulkes.com/Home_...ssey_cert.html

It lives in one of the more acoustically treated rooms around, and the results (in the bass) are astounding. Super clean.

You can add my modest IB line array to the list, my 1st ever DIY speaker project.

Here is link from ThomasW "Cult of the Infinitely Baffled" forum where my build thread is at:
"Usul" the IB sub; Mike R Basement HT IB project

Project Summary:
Line Array with (4) AE IB15's, (1) Behringer EP2500 amp, (1) FBQ2496
Total cost: approx $1.4k, give or take
Uniqueness item: Had to cut thru basement foundation wall to make the IB line array. Good point is VERY stiff mounting
Final EQ Waterfall chart (2 filters, 1st filter @ 30hz, -9.5db, 2nd filter @ 50hz, -3.5db) http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink

Testing: Reached 124db @ 2nd row 3rd seat "money position" while watching KFP "Skadoosh" Tiger with the "wushi finger hold" (my kids love that movie, LFE are great in it)

"You are bluffing Panda, Master Shifu did not teach you the wushi finger hold?"

"I am the Kung Fu Panda, and figured it out all by myself!"

I don't have the software to take realtime in room measurements of the pressure wave itself, maybe that is my next journey in LFE/Bass "stuff".

If you have the equipment to do a waterfall plot, what else do you need to do a RTA? REW has a RTA built in.

ahh...my comments were directed mostly at me.

the op needs some organization, better formatting, etc. i will update the op from time to time. hopefully, at some point, we will cross the threshold for *sticky*, but at this point, it's still a ways off. i've been digg'n your monster subs for a long time. those things are awesome scott.

Yea- that forum requires login to keep the spam posts down.
I have a summary Post at AE speakers forum, kinda dated, I might update that and post link here, or just make a single post in the DIY section here.
