there isn't a simple way to slice it, or i would have. :-) the future web will take care of all of this, but we aren't there yet.

You could create an excel sheet with all this info listed beside each sub. Then all the user has to do is sort by whichever column that he/she wants to.

Great thread by the way. Thank you for all your hard work.

"You could create an excel sheet..."

of course, that is not the problem. each subwoofer set can be typically distinguished further down to each sub's uniqueness, so the number of subwoofer variables would become unmanageable.

a spreadsheet would have to consider every possible difference and that just gets ridiculous. for broad categories such as sealed, ported, or horn, just ctrl+f and highlight the builds that include those terms.

i think most of the value of the list is to help folks get a broad survey of what folks are doing in subwoofer land and then they can ask questions about their particular builds in the forum.

Great collection of build/threads - I've only looked through a few... and my heads already spinning with too much info... I'm probably a couple years (at best) from my first build so I venture to guess I'll get through most of these by that time.. hopefully I'll be able to narrow down my needs & wants to a realistic level by then. Thanks again for the legwork involved.

good idea. if folks could link up some of the recent builds, then i'll make an update.

the grizzlies are a nice matching set for the cornscalas and the dual stacks of three 18's are pretty ominous looking behind ba's screen. nice work guys.

the editor switches me into "rich content" mode or something like that.

combined with the adds that runs during the editor, my computer slows down so much
that it is functionally unusable. as a result, i'll have to make edits and updates to the
master list some other time. sorry guys.

edit: after investigation, i noticed that internet explorer had blown up to 500 megs of memory and was using
100% of my cpu while trying to make edits. no wonder it seemed unusable!
