hey bosso, matching the boost to the natural rolloff of the driver makes sense, but how does the bossobassis know know where to provide the boost? two subs could have the same q (q=0.707 for example), but dramatically different f3's (one could be at 50hz, the other could be at 20hz for example).

edit: on second thought, these are meant to be used with your subs and i'm sure that they work well. a sub that is in theory q=0.707 will often not roll off at exactly that amount, so using a lower q boost will make it flat.

Listen. It's All Good.

Hey bosso,
I was just reading though a couple of older threads and noticed quite a few of the pics you've posted are not displaying at all. I hate to bring up an old thread like this but I'm not able to PM you for some reason.
One thread is "YOUR subwoofer picture thread" and the posts are old there (2009) so your pics are not the only ones missing.
"YOUR" subwoofer picture thread

I also found this Meet the RAVEN thread, and i was really curious what the 20x6.5 mid unit looks like.

Any chance you could send me some pics of those 20x6.5s? Or repost them maybe? I don't know how much work it would be to go back and fix those posts/threads with missing pics

PS: All your systems and subs look incredibly high class and top notch.

HT setup: Vizio 50" 4K | Xbox & PS3 | Pioneer Elite VSX-94TX | Bose 701 towers (V1) | JBL S Center | Def Tech Reference SuperCube & Def Tech PF15TL+
