I think it's totally unreasonable to believe by adding forums, sub forums , or any other gadget on the AVSforum is going to reduce your emails and you are just kidding yourself. In my opinion (which means absolutely nothing) your site needs to run itself. You are relying on the AVS forum as rubber crutch. When I go to your site I'm looking at all the design. Yes maybe I read a thread about speaker A or B and decided to go to your site, once there I'm curious about other speakers you offer. I don't feel like I should have to run back to AVS forum to learn about a speaker that may or may not have enough info. There should be a FAQ for each of your speaker offerings. Even cut and paste some of the thread quotes about the speakers; How they are being used; Links back to builds on this forum. I know all this poop takes time but in the end it would make your life a lot easier. I also know you are working on fixing these issues. Just giving my two cents worth from a newbie.
One last thing about being a newbie. I think sometimes the guys who been around here awhile are to close to the problem and been hearing or seeing the problems arising. I'm speaking from a newbies view who has only read about 240 hours worth. I believe newbies are the ones causing some of the head aches, excessive emails and questions.
I hate to say it, I'm not trying to compare the two but Parts express does a pretty good job and might want to model some of there ideas.
Once again Erich, thanks for all the hard work you are doing a great job. Growing pains suck.
