the original thread has been unlocked by the mods, so go back to that one!
this whole thread was in response to Part I being locked because of disruptive behavior.
Well, we managed to screw up one of the best threads on AVS in my opinion. Let this thread pick up where the last one crashed and burned...
No rehashing old arguments. No finger pointing. Let's put all the bad stuff behind and let the SEOS, EOS, QSC 152i horn discussion continue.
Let's pick up the discussion at #867 in Part I where 3AMRecords said,
"Thanks Eric H
I must have missed somewhere the time it was going to take to get this prototype completed.
I know that the last update we had it was going into the build stage, but I was not sure how long that would take.
That and I didn't want to see this thread get buried among lots of others at page 10."
can somebody link up a pick of the design that is being worked on? i forget which seos was the one in development. i'd like to stick the picture in the first post of this thread so folks who are new to the thread will have an idea of what we are working on and how exciting it is. grats.
It's not that one, it's the SEOS-15. Yours is the EOS-15. All the photos and info are in the locked thread. I'll track it down later tonight or tomorrow. The info here on AVS doesn't necessarily match up with the stuff over at DIYAudio.
Hard to believe they locked a thread with 900 posts just because the last 10 or so went off topic. I didn't even see those posts until today.
Eric, you definitely should explain to the admins at AVS how important that thread is and what commitments you have already. Im pretty sure they can easily unlock it and ask everyone to stay on topic removing anyone posting off topic.

Mjg100, I can't claim to be doing the hard work, the guys building the prototype are the ones doing that. I just wanted to make sure it got done this time.
LTD02, actually the one that everyone agreed upon was this:
"SEOS-15 9060 N=3 (rH=12cm, rV=4.5) Elliptical flange - Circular throat - Throat angle to match the 15* driver exit angle of the DE250" with a flush baffle mount. Screw holes to be drilled by the end user.
The old thread has been reopened.
I guess anyone can delete posts they wish they didn't make or the mods will just clean it up tomorrow.
