I am thinking about getting a 10Q after Xmas. BUT I also may just get a Fp14 instead. I am wanting 2400watts in 4ohms x 2 and nothing else comes close. Even if I spent500 more dollars I would not get as much power. The only other amp I would buy instead is a LOT more money than I want to spend right now. So 900 vs 2000 vs 3400. SO I think I will probably join the fray soon. Xmas I will have my 18's and then will order from there.
fans are run off the power board, same board as the fp14k, same procedure.

Go 3400 as I think I know what that one is ;-) =extremely quiet and built in the US? Some Cats really like them?

But my two Fp10s have been fine after I weeded out the faulty FTW that was making a channel clip super early. Thought was amp and as you know was just bad FTW. And mine have been pushed super hard with 220v and left turned on many many hours at a time ;-)

Bassthathz did some testing with an oscope somewhere. Has a thread that might show show if search his threads started or oscope threads started. Or maybe even search O-scope if nothing for oscope

I have no problems with my 10KQ and it's been over 2 years now.

I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this question on, but have you or any one else on this thread specifically used that automatic turn on/off relay set up on the FP14000 clones.

If you are using this relay setup on your four FP140000 clones, I'd like to know how you like it, if you had to modify anything on the FP14000 to make this relay set up work right, and if there is any thuds or noise on turn on or turn off.

I looked through this thread and the relay threads, and didn't see this mentioned anywhere.

I use the relays with my amps. No loud noises or thumps, only the mechanical relays clicking.

It depends on what fans you use and how far away you are from it.

Going to China in about 2 weeks for a month. I may buy some of these and bring them back. My wife will no doubt buy alot of things so I may send them back by sea.

Worth getting a few there?

I would think it may be more of a hassle to buy from China when there unless you have dealt with them before. I know , personally, I would rather not look to close to the building and what not that is putting out these value products. I dont want my ideas of a great value amp going down the drain because of that.

BUT maybe you have been there and done that so this maybe great for you.

You should meet up with Johnson and his crew at Sanway... Have a serious conversation with him about the challenges he faces with doing business in the States...

Ask for his vision of what he is trying to accomplish long term...

Fatty, There's no reason for me to say don't...They are awesome amps and the fact that they are improved over mine is a bonus.
I beat the hell out of my 10KQ. I haven't had any problems with it. 2 years now.
I'll speak for my 10KQ, it's a workhorse and really delivers!

Thank you! For some reason the link is broken but I found your post. I'm thinking about getting a FP6000Q since I don't need more power. It's for life music, monitors and one sub. Any thoughts about the FP6000Q? Someone already tried that one?

I think in CA where the cost is higher because of duties and all that perhaps.. but in the USA the cost to get one isn't very high. Shipping is reasonable so total cost is.
