Anyone on the fence about building a DIY sub or two right now should hop off and grab a DSP model for themselves for Christmas!

Grrrrrr!

Of course, after weeks of shopping for the best rate, I wound up buying an EP2500 from them 2 days ago and it is scheduled for delivery. Totally would have went the 3000DSP route at this price.

Wonder if the deal got pulled? I went ahead and tried it out and the only code I can get to work is the 5% off.

I got it to work when I signed out. For some reason, when I was signed in, it would not apply the callsanta one. Now, do I need another amp....?

Hello All,

My name is Lauren Vlam and I work for Musician's Friend. We're very sorry for the confusion. These coupon codes should not have been able to stack during checkout. Our web development team is working to fix this as quickly as possible.

We still want to make sure you're getting the best deals out there. So, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to forums@musiciansfriend.com.

Happy Holidays,
Lauren

Hi Vaison,

We aren't planning on canceling any of the orders that have already been placed. However, we will not be honoring or matching the stacking coupons going forward. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks,
Lauren

I'm surprised they didn't cancel most of the orders. Sadly, I bet that's going to be an expensive mistake.

But it's nice to hear Musician's Friend is actually going to honor the deals.

By the way, mine says it was already shipped!

UPS has mine. Just to let everyone know in the past Musician's Friend will take your order and if they don't want to accept your discount code, charge your credit card what they want and ship the product, Happened to me once when they had a 15% off sale on any one item. I ordered the same item three days in a row. They wised up on the third day and charged me full price, I called and bitched and got them to at least drop it 10%.

Wow! Guess I'm too late to the party this time, bit it's not like I 'need' another amp anyway.

Hey BIGmouthinDC,

Your situation sounds like something that may have been an error, as we're not able to charge you additionally without getting in contact with you first. I'm sorry that happened. I'd like to hear more about the situation. If you could email me the details to forums@musiciansfriend.com, that would be great!

Thanks,
Lauren

I had mine in the shopping cart at the $290 price tag. When I entered the CC info, it had me confirm the price and it was back to only one coupon! That sucks!

It was order:MDS02708966 on June 25, 2010

I had ordered the same woofer on the June 23 and again on June 24 and received the 15% discount. I actually had a print out of the on screen confirmation which showed I was to get the 15% discount but when the item came I saw I had been charged the regular price. I called and was basically told to take it or leave it and if I was unhappy they (you) would be happy to pay to ship it back and issue a refund.

I pointed out how stupid that would be for you to pay for shipping (it was a pretty heavy 15 inch sub-woofer) and then sometime later that year you would have another sale and I would place another order and the bottom line you would pay for two additional shipping fees or if they would just give me the discount as we spoke the story would be over. After the person on the phone talked to her boss they offered something less than the 15% and I accepted.

here it is, one of the three boxes on the right

Thanks for the details and I'm very sorry all of that took place. I've sent an email over to you with more info regarding your account.

I will have both very soon (already got mini dsp) but probably will not touch either for a month or two because im a lazy sack of crap... sigh

The one problem with the minidsp is the balanced one is like $155 shipped and it doesnt even have a box for it.

Less equipment means less bull$hit IMO...

Regardless of coupon deal or not, if these amps pan out - I'm going to replace an EP2500 and my Velo SMS-1 for my bedroom... integrated DSP for the win IMO...

Just a note that Lauren went out of her way to look up the transaction and to make me whole for something that happened over a year and a half ago. Thank you Lauren!

Lauren, you should hang out here more often and let us know when you are having a sale on items that may be of interest to speaker builders like ourselves.
