plastic is probably the easiest one to drill through

right, steel is too hard to drill. have you seen any aluminum case options?

I'm still just laying mine on my desk...is that bad?

For a case, I just grabbed a small 1U case from the as-is pile at the local electronics recycler. Used to be an Internet firewall in a past life, but no longer works. It only cost me $3, and has a nice power supply in it already. It is steel, so it's not exactly easy to work with, but I have a pretty well-equipped shop.

I'll post up pics if I ever get it done.
