I going to build a sub box 17x17x17 sealed 10in front firring driver and thinking of using a down fire 12in passive radiator. good/bad?

Also: was thinking of using auto paint w/ clear coat. will it look the same as lacquer?

Don't do it that way with the PR firing up and down. That's bad. Have the active driver bottom firing with the PR facing out.

I was going to build with the pr down, I have a REL R328 w/10in active front and a 12in pr down.
.... so what is the reasoning for it being "bad". IDK

... "since I was asking" about the paint was, The look, depth and gloss.
I work at a Ford dealer, so I have friends the shoot cars every day.

I always link people to the PR FAQ. This will give you a basic understanding of what you need from a PR system.
