Hey everyone. My theater room isn't huge but I want to build a killer sub. I have a 4ft high heated crawl space beneath the room. Has anyone ever build a giant subwoofer and some how directed the sound up through a hole (perhaps the size of a vent or cold air return) in the floor or wall to get sound into the room?

I realize the sound wouldn't be as good as it would with the driver pointed right at you. Just wondered if it would work?

Perhaps I could use it in conjunction with my 12" 360 watt that I have now?

Thanks for your input.
