I currently have an AV15H sealed build and after using minidsp, it sounds pretty damn good. But with the acoustics in my room, there are a couple of nulls that make the response drop off below 30 (even though there is definitely useable output well below that). Sub placement doesn't seem to help, and I'm now looking into duals. Obviously, the AV is nowhere to be found anymore, so I came across this option available for under $200

What kind of amp are you using? Tell us more about the room the sub is in.

Room is about 2000 cubes. Currently is a travesty of wood panels and those BEAUTIFUL frosted plastic ceiling tiles in the drop ceiling. Hopefully both of those will be remedied in the next month. Will likely be using the same 500 watt bash plate amp I used for the av. The new model with the hp at 17 Hz and almost no boost. Worked really well for the av, in the end.

Isn't it vaporware? The SI subs availability has been spotty at best the last few years. I wouldn't count on one for a build anytime soon.
