That's what I was alluding to in my post above. I haven't seen an update on the HT sub, or line of subs. This driver has already had one production run, so at least we know it's designed and manufacture-able. smile.gif Maybe we'll hear something soon about the 15" HT model. I believe they had one sample, but it was still being evaluated, though likely to need some tweaks.

it sounded like if they were going to do an HT sub then it would be more expensive and more intended for small sealed enclosures.

The current 18's are obviously very inexpensive and are not really well suited for small box, but should work pretty good in IB.

Well, if I remember right, they were shooting for a qts that would work well in sealed or vented, somewhere are .45. That was a 15", and that would not be good for IB. So the 18 they have now is the best option. The 15 has a qts that's a bit too low for my taste in an IB. They were looking to make their HT-suited subs as affordable as their present line, so we'll see what they deliver.

Well, doesn't look like I'll get enough of an upgrade moving to 2 of these 18's. I just don't have enough power to do them justice. I'll wait to see if they come out with an IB model with a bit more efficiency. I'd like to see a 15" with about 20-25mm of excursion, and the ability to get there with modest power. Say about 200W at 10Hz. That saved me about $425, and buys me some time to evaluate exactly what I have now in my system.
