Does anyone know anything about this new 18" sub that Mark is working on?
I think I can afford this compared to the FTW-21.

Just asking...

I thought the owners name was MARK.
Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyways, here's the website
http://www.istonline.ca/mach5_lle_18.html

Anyone have any info on this new driver?
I'd like to get 2 as the FTW21 are little too much for me.

From the website:

For those of you who have special requirements where proper blending of a subwoofer with your existing home audio or theater mains is a necessity, the LLE-18 will most certainly fill the bill.

sounds to me like they are designing this around use as a MBM or something of the like.

Sounds like it but with no price and no specs it's hardly worth getting excited over just yet.

There was a bit of info I posted on the mach 5 thread but no more than was on the site. It is not a MBM, it's a full fledged sub with a massive motor. I saw it first hand. I'm pretty sure he was waiting for cones for it also, same as the UXL.

Blasting brown notes for 10 years and counting!

I might've figured that out if I knew LLE was a Mach5 product.

I was think more along the lines of a low inductance design.

Thats exactly what it is. Mark said he had so many guys wanting this, that he just said screw it and designed on to build.

I'm interested but at this point there is nothing to go on besides a model number and a vague description of the product. wink.gif
