She lives!!!

Yep, she's up and running and my initial impressions are, "WOW....awesome!" eek.gif Its really impressive how tight and detailed the really low stuff is biggrin.gif

Tonight, I added the missing brace:

Then, after popping the top back on, I slide it into place:

She fits like a glove:

Now, all I have to do is make a new front baffle to clean up the appearance, and then possibly add something to hid the wood. But I haven't made any firm decisions about that yet.

Nice! When you put the new baffle on, use a roundover bit on the port opening if possible, and take a couple cheap polyfil pillows and stick them in the back of the cabinet..

Alright, time for another update (with a video)...Today I worked on the front baffle.

I got a new toy (the Jasper jig):

Cut out the required holes:

Round-over on all holes an a bit of hand sanding:

Applied some sealant:

Attached to the box:

You can see I'm using both the LFE & high level inputs. The reason for this if dual zone operation. The LFE is used in zone one for the theater. The high level inputs are used for zone two stereo speakers on the other side of the sliding doors where my desktop is located. The projector in the theater us used solely as the 2nd monitor for my computer, so I just switch from the 30" to the PJ anytime I want to game or watch a movie.

The red LED is on the front door of my custom desk computer I built last year, you can check out the build thread here.
