Not sure if this is the spot to put this.......

Im finally starting to get an idea on how the IB will be setup in the riser.

In a nutshell what we are going to do is this:

Put in serenity mat below an OSB ¾” sub-floor. The riser will be built on top of this. That way we can attach the riser outside joist frame to the sub-floor, and caulk and seal. This will give us our sealed box. The drivers will be installed one per joist cavity facing upward. The amount of drivers will depend on the volume of the riser.

From what I have read, placing the IB right behind or next to (which I am doing) the listening position is not ideal. UNLESS, you use the IB to augment a sealed front sub and set the IB at a very low crossover point.

Im getting really excited about all of this. Between the triads, IB…cant wait.

Yes, volume is about 90^3. Gives me plenty of room to add multiple drivers. Have not decided on the drivers yet.
