It's been modeled countless times.
Are you going sealed or ported?

I have 18" D4 in 4 cu ft sealed, driven by iNuke dsp6000, after calibration the gain on the iNuke is only at 12 o'clock, lots of extra headroom if you like to run things hot.

How many 18" D4 do you have hooked up to your dsp6000 ?

Plenty of people here have, including myself for my own setup as well as a couple other forum members I assisted in building out subs for smile.gif

They won't bve "flaking out" so no worries about that!

Good to hear smile.gif just wasn't sure since people said they were discontinued for a bit and now they are on pre-order. I mean I pulled the trigger anyways because can't pass up a good deal and wanted to get on the list asap for July. Will be building Marty subs for my summer project biggrin.gif

For those that have ordered and then physically picked up their HT 18" (e.g. beastaudio?), how were you able to place your order for pickup? I am close enough to SI's shop that I can pick my order up. I would like to avoid shipping costs. I have not received responses to my email or phone call, so I am wondering if there is a secret handshake that I am missing. I am sure they are super busy with the next round of orders, but I definitely want to get in on this pre-order round!

I just came in with cash and Nick let me leave with 8 drivers Haha. Actually, if Nick has what you need in stock, then just try him again on the phone and/or email and you could swing by. It is htsales AT stereointegrity DOT com.

Unfortunately the HT 18" D2 is currently in pre-order (again) I'll just have to keep trying their phone and email. I was hoping there was a secret handshake, i.e. call and let the phone ring once, hang up, then call again.

Just thinking here.

Would two sealed SI HT 18" yield noticeably higher performance over four sealed 15" MWF?

Probably not. Particularly if the 4 MWFs are spread out for smoothest in-room response.

What is the weight on the 15" versions? How do these compare to the Dayton Audio Ultimax 15"? Also, that REALLY sucks they are discontinuing the 15" versions. Really wanted to get this for my MFW-15's.
