I didn't get an email either but I know it got shipped because my FedEx account is showing a shipment from sundown. So you might try signing up for a FedEx account and seeing if anything is being shipped to you.

That did not work for me, but it was a great idea. I'm sure I'll get something this week... just antsy to get it.

I think a few people did. Check with BlueR. I am pretty sure he did.

I placed my order literally the day before the price change and my sub was delivered yesterday.

With that said, if anyone is in the Denver area and wants to trade, I'll trade my D4 for a D2 sub.

Im debating on picking up 2 more. The wait for these things is a killer. I might just go with 8 12's instead, it would be great if SI picked up the phone just once out of the 10 or so times I have tried calling them.

We are usually in the build room building speakers or out taking care of orders. Have you sent an email to us at htsales@stereointegrity.com? Email is the best way to get in touch with us as we have access to email even after normal business hours.

Considering that ae drivers take 3 months and uxl18 1-2 months , then si is pretty quick.

Hey looks like the 3 week wait time was removed from the site today. That's exciting. I'm convincing my friends to buy more as well.

Do you think having all matching subs would sound better than mixing and matching? Like, if I went with 2 SI 15's instead of 1 18 for behind the couch?

"Sound better"? If you're comparing the 15" versus the 18" from the same family (SI HT15vsHT18) then no. If you're comparing the SI18 versus the Dayton Reference HF15 then there might be some differences.

In most cases it's totally cool to mix and match. It's when there is a huge difference in overall capability that there might be issues.

Excellent, need to decide what size box to go with next and then Ill pick out an amp. Im thinking nuk6k in case I want to move up to 6 subs. I am thinking 4 will be decent for my size room.

Someone said the Minidsp sold for $80. All I can find it for is $110, any idea if that is still the price for one?

Too bad 18's seem to be the standard now... I wish Ricci could have got ahold of the SI15HT for testing, I think it would have fared extremely well. I'm just basing that on the Submersive "inspired" DO box I built last year. Same motor and power handling as the SI18... just seemed like a very stout option.

Yeah. I agree.

I can't say I've helped contribute to the heap of 15's but the world is a better place with more choices. Wish SI would keep the 15's around. Not everybody wants or needs the 18's.

You may want to go with the MiniDSP Balanced 2x4 version since it gives you 2V inputs and higher output voltage (2V) over the unbalanced version. With the unbalanced version, you may run into issues with clipping or not having enough output to drive a pro amp sufficiently. Several members here have run in to this issue. Here are the balanced versions:

"Unboxed" Version:
http://www.minidsp.com/products/mini...in-4-x-out-bal
"Boxed" Version:
http://www.minidsp.com/products/mini...p-balanced-2x4

For $125 plus shipping, the boxed version is the way to go, IMO. Mine has been awesome for shaping and EQ'ing my sealed 18"s.

Yeah the unbalanced is too low voltage for many pro amps, but it is 100% fine for all the inukes.
