That's what happens when you're smokarzing too much.

Did you ask him?

Lol. True.

No I have not. I am sure he's a pretty busy guy, I don't want to bother with a little thing like that.

80hz. Looks like my boxes will be empty pretty soon, since I will rob the TD12M's out of them for my new speakers.

How large was you cabinet? Have you run sweeps to determine where your F3 really is? I still just have 1 but my seat of the pants feel is that I liked it a lot better crossed at 80hz. I even took some measurements and was fairly flat down to <50hz. Maybe phase issues are what was taking away from my satisfaction since it's tuned to 58ish hz.

Was considering the RAAL, but decided it would not go as low as I wanted. So going with TPL-150H. My right and left main with be MTMW, using TD12M, TPL-150H, TD12M & TD18H+. http://www.avsforum.com/forum/155-di...waveguide.html

Why did you decide to go this route instead os stick with the TD12M SEOS-12 DNA-360? I know the RAAL is awesome from what I've read, but what do you expect to gain or is it just curiosity?

I did not go with the RALL. I am going with the TPL-150H. It is a horn loaded ribbon. Should have the clarity of a ribbon and since it's power handling and sensitivity is more like a compression driver, it should have the dynamics for good HT. It's response is nice and flat, so should be easy to work with. Looks it has the best of both worlds (resolution and dynamics) for music and HT.

Good choice! if you don't have the TD12M yet, consider 12P80Nd as well for a great match.
