Although I am not in the market as I have already ordered drivers last month, I wanted to share that the IB3 series is discounted $20/driver for 4+. I hope this helps anyone in the market for IB subs. smile.gif

Certainly worthy of a mention so thanks for that. As far as I know, they've always had a quad discount that kicks in upon purchase time in the cart.

For those so inclined; Four IB3-18s, combined with the ubiquitous Behringer EP4000, executed in an IB, ..... makes for so serious bang for the buck firepower, ... no doubt.

125dB plus@1m@20hz with a mere 200 watts per driver. Bass is bass, however executed correctly, this yields it's output without the typical compression found in other full excursion approaches, and doesn't possess the time smeared energy emanating back thru the driver. IBs are not without their inherent issues to be overcome as well.

I have always wanted to try an IB set-up, but my home will not accommodate it.

It's certainly not for everyone and you're right, many enthusiasts can't really properly accomadate an IB sub system.

I just thought it was worthy of a shout out, as we see far too few IB builds. There's positive attributes to a properly executed IB that may not be realized with any other approach. I misunderstood, I thought you were saying you had already ordered your IB3-18s.

Thanks

Sorry about that. I see how I was a little vague. I ordered 4 Q 18"s.
