Hi all, I want to build a relatively small sub for my car. I will be using the stock amp which is a 2channel 2ohm 25watt amp. So I would like the most efficient design I can make with this RF 8" subwoofer. Here are the specs for the driver. Any help would be appreciated.

Nominal Impedance:Dual 2-OhmPower Handling (Watts RMS):250 Watts RMS500 Watts MaxVoice Coil Diameter:2.25"(57.7 mm)
Magnet Weight (oz):49 oz.1.38 kg.Speaker Connector:Dual 10 AWG compression
Fs (Hz):39.6Re
Vas (Liters):9.9Sd
SPL (dB @ 1w/1m):83
Xmax (mm):7.8
Woofer Displacement(in):0.071 cu. ft.(2.0 Liters)
Cutout Diameter (in):7.13 in.(181 mm)
Mounting Depth (in):4.76 in.(120.8 mm)

God loves me, but everyone else thinks I'm an a$$hole.
My small dedicated theater.

Not the best driver for a 50 watt amp, being very low sensitivity. I would go with a ported box, 0.5 ft3 internal volume with a 2" x 15" port (32hz). A 12" x 12.5" x 8.5" box built out of 1/2" wood (1/2" ply works well) will get you there. You can use something like this PVC elbow to make the port length fit

Here's the free air response, in cab should get a large gain down low.
